Palestine: how deep is your love?

MOOOV has been a long time admirer of many of Palestina’s cinematic talents such as directors Muayad Alayan, Sameh Zoabi or Annemarie Jacir. Their films have all been screened at the festival. Meanwhile a good relationship has been built with these filmmakers and other talents from Palestine. Palestine's cinema is very specific, and partially due to the country’s unique history incomparable with anything else. MOOOV wishes to share this uniqueness by screening a handful of Palestinian director’s films. 

Joining the directors of the selected films is Hanna Atallah, artistic director of Filmlab Palestine, they will be in discussion with expert Brigitte Herremans (specialist in Arabic, Biblical Hebrew, researcher in Israeli-Palestinian conflict). This talk will encompass matters such as Palestinian film, themes in the films and the future of Palestinian cinema.
