Yoon Ga-eun
director
Yoon Ga-eun is a South-Korean director and screenwriter. She received international attention with short films “Guest” and “Sprout”. Her debut “Guest” (2011) was the first Asian film to win the first prize at the 34th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. “Sprout” (2013) continued that success with the Crystal Bear in the Generation Kplus section at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival. Her feature films “The World of Us” (2016) and “The House of Us” (2019) explored friendship and family, respectively. With the “The World of Love” (2025) Yoon further broadens her perspective.
