Yoon Ga-eun is een Zuid-Koreaanse regisseur en scenarioschrijver. Ze kreeg internationale aandacht met haar kortfilms 'Guest' en 'Sprout'. Haar debuut 'Guest' (2011) was de eerste Aziatische film die de hoofdprijs won op het 34e Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. 'Sprout' (2013) zette dat succes voort met de Kristallen Beer in de Generation Kplus-sectie op het 64e Berlin International Film Festival. Haar speelfilms 'The World of Us' (2016) en 'The House of Us' (2019) exploreerden de thema's van vriendschap en familie. Met 'The World of Love' (2025) breidt Yoon haar blik verder uit.
