A warm and epic retelling of multiple generations of a family that represents the history of the uprooted Palestinian people…

The West Bank, 1988. When a Palestinian teenager gets involved in a protest against Israeli soldiers, his mother tells him the story of their family. For decades they have been oppressed by the Israeli army. She dives deep into their family’s history and talks about the eternal struggle between on the one hand displacement and on the other, coexistence with dignity.

In a time flooded with current images of Palestine, this film is timeless. 80 years are connected through the recognisable inter-generational family relations of the characters. 80 years full of uprooting, occupation, oppression, absurd bureaucracy and unimaginable loss. The film carries the heart of Palestine for a people who transmit and will and go on transmitting courage and tenacity from one generation to another.

"'All That’s Left of You' isn’t just about the past, it’s about the invisible ways it shapes who we are. It’s a film that lingers – not because of spectacle, but because of truth."
