Raphael Wregas Bhanuteja is an Indonesian director and screenwriter. He followed the programme Film and Television at Jakarta Institute of Arts, graduating in film direction. His short film “Lembusura” was selected for the Berlin International Film Festival in 2015. In 2016 he became the first Indonesian director to win a prize at the Cannes Film Festival, with his short film “Prenjak”. He made his feature film debut in 2021 with “Photocopier”. His newest film “Levitating” premiered at Sundance this year.
