Keat Aun Chong

director

Chong Keat Aun is a Malaysian-Chinese director, antique collector and curator. In 2017 his short film “Cemetery of Courtesy” was nominated for the Wide Angle Category of the 22Nd Busan Film Festival. In 2020 he won the Best New Director Award at the Golden Horse Awards with his first feature film “The Story of Southern Islet”. His second feature film “Snow in Midsummer” premiered in 2023 in Venice and received nine nominations for the Golden Horse Awards. “Pavane For An Infant” is his third feature film.
