Admission is a nerve wrecking drama that exposes all the tensions and intrigues within an ambitious family in the wake of an intense admission process to a prestigious school.

The six-year-old Sun Yu ends up on the black list of a prestigious school. The admission interview, where both parents and child are subject to deep personal questions, should be a mere formality. However, there was something that caused them to be on the “rejection list”, a serious disgrace for the family and for everyone who helped them. Who is to blame?

This Taiwanese one-act play interestingly exposes all the tensions, fears and social pressures of an ambitious couple behind closed doors. The film is an impressive debut with strong acting performances, clever camera work and a strong plot.
