The story of a family in three chapters. Lila, a young Korean-Argentinian girl struggles with the contradictions of her identity as she tries to find her place in the world. Her father, Antonia immigrated to Latin-America from South-Korea eighteen years ago. Years have passed when he finally sees his family again, and that has left a deep mark.

“Hijo Mayor” offers an original approach to the director’s family history. Themes like identity, migration and cultural differences intertwine within a tripartite structure.
