Last Film Show

Pan Nalin

Embark on a trip with Samay through film history in a story full of warm colours and surprising images. Make sure your stomach is full though, because the meals in the film will make your mouth water!

When Samay is allowed to go to the cinema for the first time, he is immediately excited. Because he doesn’t have money to pay for the ticket, he sneaks in through the back entrance every day and is caught every time. He meets the projectionist, who takes him to the booth from where the film is projected onto the screen. From then, Samay is there every day. With his friends, he gets to work to build their own projector.

A film about film, full of nostalgia and love for beauty and the moving image. It is not only delightful to watch, but also an immersion into the captivating history of film. ‘Last Film Show’ is like a poetic love song about film that you can enjoy with the entire family.
