Vincho Nchogu

The Kenyan filmmaker Vincho Nchogu is a multimedia storyteller and a digital archiver of Indigenous Knowledge Systems. She produced the East and Central African segment of the “Future Express-serie” (NCVR). In 2017 she received recognition as producer of “Gabriel and the Mountain”, which premiered in Cannes, winning two awards. Furthermore, she produced a number of international documentaries, and started Kenya’s most popular podcast “Case Number Zero”. In 2025 she wrote and directed “One Woman One Bra”, which premiered in Venice, and also won the Sutherland Award for Best First Feature at the BFI London Film Festival.
