Tom Shu-yu Lin

Tom Shu-yu Lin is a Taiwanese director and screenwriter. He earned a master's degree in film from the California Institute of the Arts. His first short film, The Olfactory System (1997), was an immediate success, winning the Taipei Film Award for Outstanding Work and the Golden Harvest Award for Outstanding Short Film. His later feature films were also recognized with multiple nominations. His film Winds of September (2008) won the Golden Horse Award for Best Original Screenplay.
