Sepideh Farsi
director
Sepideh Farsi is an Iranian film director from Teheran. At 18 years old she moved to Paris, where she studied maths and was captivated by photography and films. She made “Téhéran sans autorisation” (2009), which was filmed with her smartphone, and “Red Rose”(2014). Her animated film “La Sirène » premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2023, and won Best Animated Film at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Her newest film, the documentary “Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk”, premiered in Cannes last spring.
