Lina Soualem

Lina Soualem is a French filmmaker and actress with Palestinian-Algerian roots. She studied History & Political Science in Paris, after which she started a career in journalism. In search of a way to combine her interests in film and contemporary Arab societies, she started working as a programmer at various human rights film festivals. Her documentaries are mostly quests for the roots of her family's history.
