director
The Tunisian director and screenwriter Kaouther Ben Hania already has two Oscar nominations to her name, proof of her extraordinary cinematic abilities. Her films tell touching stories, often with poignant political and social views. She is mostly known for “The Man Who Sold His Skin” (2021) and “Les filles d’Olfa” (2023), which received critical acclaim and prospered at international film festivals. Her newest film “The Voice of Hind Rajab” premiered in Venice last year.
