Erige Sehiri
director
Erige Sehiri is a French-Tunisian director, producer and former journalist. Her work bridges the gap between documentary realism and narrative cinema. In 2018 Sehiri made her directing debut with “As-Sekka”. Her first feature film “Taht al-Shajara” premiered in Cannes in 2022 and was put on display at many international festivals. Apart from her work in the film world, she is also an activist for press freedom. Her newest film “Promis le ciel” premiered in Cannes last year.
