Cyril Aris
director
Cyril Aris is a Lebanese director, writer and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He studied at Columbia University and also works as an editor. His first full-length film "A Sad and Beautiful World" (2025) won audience awards in Venice, Valladolid and was Lebanon's entry for the Oscars. Previously he made the documentaries "Dancing on the Edge of a Volcano" (2023) and "The Swing" (2018).
