Anuparna Roy
director
Anuparna Roy is a filmmaker and writer from Narayanpur, a village in Purulia in West Bengal. She studied English literature at the University of Burdwan. Her first short film “Run To The River” received a lot of praise from critics at many international film festivals. In 2024 she made her first feature film “Song of Forgotten Trees”. Currently she lives in Mumbai, where she continues her career as a writer and director.
