Amber Fares

Amber Fares is a Canadian documentary maker from New York. She is known for her directing debut "Speed Sisters" (2015), which was internationally streamed and broadcasted on Netflix, Al Jazeera and RAI. She co-directed "We Are Ayenda" (2023), "Reckoning with Laughter" (2021) and "Convergence: Courage Under Crisis" (2021). She also worked as a cinematographer for "Life After" (2025), and also produced and filmed the short film "The Devil is Busy" (2025). Her newest film "Coexistence, My Ass!" premiered at Sundance in 2025.
