Ali Asgari
director
Ali Asgari is an Iranian director, writer and film producer. He uses his work to focus on the precarious lives of people on the fringes of society in his home country. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has already won various prizes for his films. His debut film "Disappearance" premiered in 2017 at the Venice Film Festival. His film "Terrestrial Verses" was shown at our festival in 2024.
