No Other Choice

You Man-Su has a settled life with a family and a job in the paper industry until he is suddenly fired by his employer and his whole life is turned upside down. Three months later he tries to get back into work, but this turns out to be harder than expected. He thinks up a criminal plan to extract himself from this hopeless situation. 

As well as being an at times hilarious, almost slapstick comedy thriller about the world’s clumsiest murderer, this movie is also a convincingly performed portrayal of a man struggling with his emotions and his battered pride. Meanwhile the film, packed with cinematographic brilliance, is also a criticism of modern capitalism and its practice of mass firings.
