Verpleegkundige Flora klokt in voor haar avonddienst in een Zwitsers ziekenhuis. Op haar afdeling moeten zij en haar collega's zorgdragen voor zesentwintig patiënten. Ondanks haar ervaring, professionaliteit en medemenselijkheid wordt de werkdruk te hoog: iedere patiënt vraagt iets anders. Het drama wordt steeds vanuit het perspectief van Flora verteld. Het acteerwerk van Leonie Benesch, eerder al aangrijpend als leerkracht in ‘Das Lehrerzimmer’, is indrukwekkend. Je ziet alle emoties razendsnel over haar gezicht trekken. Een adembenemende film in de figuurlijke èn letterlijke zin van het woord.
