This magical animated film teaches a young audience in a very clear and child-friendly way to understand what it means to flee from war. This story will not let you go.

Dounia lives in Syria with her grandparents, because her parents died during the war. When another bomb falls on their house, they have no choice but to flee to a safer place. In spite of all the difficulties along the way, Dounia never stops believing that everything will be alright one day.

This wonderful animated film makes the current events in Syria accessible for a young audience. The story is hopeful, without having to sacrifice credibility.
