Raoul Peck

director

Raoul Peck is a Haitian filmmaker known for his work on social issues. His documentary I Am Not Your Negro (2016), about James Baldwin and race relations, was nominated for an Oscar. His HBO miniseries Exterminate All the Brutes(2021) won a Peabody Award. Peck is the founder of Velvet Film and the El Dorado Forum in Haiti, which supports artists' creativity.
