Credible drama with strong performances and beautiful cinematography.

A few times a week, the Palestinian Saleem and the Jewish Sarah make love in a van on a desolate parking place. Saleem delivers bread in Sarah’s pub, but he is married to the pregnant Bisan, and Sarah to the commanding officer David. On both sides of the Israelian “wall”, their relationship attracts the attention of the intelligence operation.

Muayad Alayan coaxes excellent performances out of the two leads and their supporting spouses, and even if the drama can seem heavy-handed in a few places, it remains quite believable throughout.
